Singing...........Parade..............Polar Express..........

Rodney and all the 3 & 4 year old's sang in the Traditional Service on Sunday. He did a great job!
Later that afternoon we went to downtown Mt Brook to watch the Christmas Parade, which the kids loved because of all the candy!! From there a quick trip to the playground and on to ride the Polar Express. Rodney loved every minute of the trains, the ride and Santa. Lizzy was not to sure about Santa, hence Mommy in the picture. After giving Santa their wish list, he moved on to other kids. Lizzy stared saying, "I like Santa". It was a great time by all.

The Blue Wise Man

Rodney's 4k class did a Nativity play this past week. The director said it was a 2 minute program with 4 hours of prep work behind it. It was really cute and Rodney was so excited to be the Blue Wise Man.

Game Day!!!

Last Saturday was my thirty-something birthday. We had planned to take the kids down to Auburn for Homecoming so we celebrated birthday on Thursday night with Jeff's family. Saturday morning we are awaken by Rodney at 5:50, saying "Daddy it's Game Day, get up". Like Father, like Son. We get everyone dressed and out the door. Once in the car I look at all of them (including Jeff) and say "what's today?" Response by all "Game Day!" My response "Hmm, how about Mommy's Birthday?" Oops, everyone forgets about mommy.
Turned out to be a beautiful day in Auburn, Rodney and Lizzy both enjoyed being able to run all over campus. We meet up with the Anderson's and Ramaley's pregame.
The kids made it through two-thirds of the first half, mainly because of the popcorn. But they got to see the Eagle fly, bands pregame performance and several touchdowns, so it was a complete day for us!

Halloween (part 2 of many)

After naps by all, we dressed in costume and headed to the Crestline Parade.

Halloween (1 of Many)

This is by far our most exciting Halloween. Cousin Ben is here and we have done it all. Our day started out with Pumpkin carving. Everyone got to pick a design, Rodney = Bat, Ben = Spider, Lizzy = Face, Mommy = M.
