Elephant Parade

After picking up Rodney a few minutes early from school today, I decided we should go on an elephant hunt. The circus arrives today for 4 days, and we are going on Saturday. What better way to get excited than to watch the elephants march from the train station to the civic center? After driving down to the civic center and see the tigers, we started out towards the train station. Luckly a police officer stopped traffic right in front of us for the elephants to march past. Bud's Best Cookie's

Rodney's class took a field trip to Bud's Best Cookie's last week. It was really cool for both kids and adults, we road the cookie express train and ate warm cookies while taking the tour. Mary Evans and I got the pleasure of 5 boys in the car with us!

Indoor Activites- Pine Cone Bird Feeders

This morning we made pine cone bird feeders, since it's 20 degrees outside. Then Rodney and Jeff are headed to the Monster Truck Show, Rodney was so excited about the truck show, he had his coat on for 2 hours before they left. Lizzy and I are headed to a Wii tournament at Mandy and Wade's. Hoping to keep coming up with fun things to do to entertain while it's so cold. This Florida girl is struggling in the cold.
