Disney 2009
Rodney has been asking everyday for at least the last year "When can we go to Disney World?" Jeff and I finally decided we should do it before school gets out and it is too hot. Lizzy got to go to Nana in Tallahassee, since the magical number at Disney is 40 inches, and she is just not there. Couple more years sissy.
Day 1 was Animal Kingdom, really it was more like Dino Kingdom. Rodney is all about Dinosaurs and could have spent the entire day in that one area. Jeff and I did take him on the ride "Dinosaur", too scary for a 4 year old. Most of the ride he was hiding in Mom's arms.
Day 2 was Magic Kingdom- We had covered Fantasyland by 10 am, since Rodney refused to ride any "girl" rides (Snow White, Little Mermaid), so we first tested him out on Goofy's Brianstormer mini roller-coaster. Then on to Thunder Mt and Splash Mt. He loved Goofy's and Thunder Mt, but not real crazy about Splash Mt. Except for the fact I got soaking wet, and Rodney and Jeff did not! The highlight of his day was definitely Buzz Lightyear ride in Tomorrowland, and I must brag and say I scored the most points!
Day 3- Breakfast with Little Einsteins and Hollywood Studios. We did very little at Hollywood Studios, not that much for kids. The Playhouse Disney show was great, but hard to see. The BEST ride in the park is the Toy Story 3D ride. Jeff scored the most point on this one. We only got to ride it once, but had a great time. End of day three was back to Magic Kingdom, lots more Thunder Mt., and about 4 more times on Buzz Lightyear.
All and all a great trip, I personally can't wait until Lizzy is 40 inches and we can go back, so I can ride some of the "girl" rides!
