Spring Break

Spring Break was spent at Mexico Beach and in Tally, here are some pictures of Lizzy discovering sand , she like it.

The Swing Set

Several months ago Jeff and I spotted this swing set at Costco. At the time Rodney was having a hard time staying in his bed all night long, so we created a rewards chart with the swing set being the reward for sleeping in your own bed all night long. The chart worked as you can see. Jeff bought the set on Wednesday afternoon. Pop-pop arrived with tools on Wednesday night, and the leveling of the ground took place most the day Thursday. There were some 35 steps to complete the thing and each step could take up to an hour once you found all the right pieces of wood and hardware in one of 6 different boxes.





This first picture is Friday afternoon, once the real helpers arrived ( Wade and Jeff, instead of me).

Then Sunday morning they were back at it again, and by 11 am we had swings, so of course they too had to be tested.

Poor Pop-pop had about 20+ hours in the swing set by the end of the three days. I will say it is most popular birthday gift by a long shot, so much that he was out at it by 7:30 am this morning. Thanks Pop-pop.........
